This exclusive Monkey D. Luffy P-055 was created for the 2026 One Piece College Basketball: US Voyage, a collaboration involving five U.S. college basketball programs. Running from January 23 through March 4, the tour brought One Piece-themed experiences to selected home games, including halftime performances featuring university marching bands and cheer squads performing the original anime theme, “We Are!” 

Rather than coming from a booster box or standard retail product, this commemorative card was distributed at participating games while supplies lasted. Its “Not for Sale” marking and event-specific design tie it directly to the live promotion, giving the card a history connected to an actual cultural event rather than a normal set release.

The artwork presents Luffy in his classic straw hat, red vest, shorts, and sandals against a collage of manga panels. The oversized US Voyage branding and printed January-to-March tour dates make the card feel like a miniature event poster, while Luffy’s familiar grin keeps the design grounded in the adventurous personality that made him an international icon. The promotion reimagines the established blue P-055 card with completely new commemorative artwork.
